02/07/2012 - GSK IMPACT Awards Reopen for 2013
The annual GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) IMPACT Awards are now open for applications.
This annual competition offers cash prizes to charities that work in the fields of health and social care and are designed to recognise and reward small to medium sized charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health in the UK.
Charities that are registered and located in the UK, that have been in existence for at least three years, have a total annual income of between £10,000 and £1.5 million, and target community health needs in the UK may enter this competition which is run in partnership with the King’s Fund.
Organisations will be expected to demonstrate how their work reflects the following six areas of IMPACT:
- Innovation.
- Management.
- Partnership.
- Achievement.
- Community Focus.
- Targeting Need.
Prizes are as follows:
- Overall winner: £40,000
- Up to ten winning organisations: £30,000.
- Up to ten runners-up: £3,000.
Award winners will also receive free training of up to £4,000 as part of the IMPACT Awards Development Network.
The deadline for applications is 21 September 2012.
